At the end of November 2023, the premiere of the Zeekr 007, the fourth model of the Chinese brand Zeekr, launched two years ago, took place at the Guangzhou Auto Show. The novelty is a mid-size sedan. Its design is the merit of stylist Stefan Zilaff, who previously collaborated with Bentley and Audi. The electric car is distinguished by the very smooth surfaces of its four-door coupe-style silhouette, while in the top version 007 has no door handles (doors open and close using buttons on the rack). It is characterized by a large glazing area, including a panoramic roof and a huge rear window. If we take into account the technical data of the Zeekr 007, then the electric car is planned to be produced in two versions — rear-wheel drive (415 hp) and full-drive (636 hp).

The Zeekr 007 salon uses the laconic design style characteristic of the brand and is full of modern technologies. The decoration uses high-quality materials in terms of quality and texture, many surfaces are covered with leather. The main control is assigned to a huge touchscreen display. The interface of the infotainment system is quite clear and understandable. If we talk about the details of the equipment, it includes frameless doors, wireless charging for mobile phones, ambient lighting, an electric heat pump. The already mentioned panoramic roof serves both to improve interior lighting and overall aesthetics. In addition, the electric car is equipped with a very high-quality audio system, including 21 speakers.

The electric sedan is designed on the new modular architecture SOA from the Chinese company Geely, which is modified to meet the standards of executive class cars (D-segment) and received the designation PMA2+. Usually, the chassis of sedans of this level is calculated to ensure a comfortable and stable ride, and the Zeekr 007 is no exception here. Its two-lever front suspension and multi-link rear suspension provide excellent handling and stability on the road. As for the overall dimensions, they are 4865 x 1900 x 1450 mm (L x W x H). The wheelbase of the car is 2920 mm. The trunk volume is 462 liters. The rear seat folds in a 60/40 ratio.

The new sedan from the Zeekr brand has numerous advanced safety technologies. The complex of semi-autonomous driving systems (ADAS driving aids) works using lidar, twelve high-resolution cameras, five microwave sensors and twelve ultrasonic radars, allowing you to scan the environment, ensure lane movement and obstacle avoidance, maintain a safe distance, as well as speed in accordance with the required restrictions, etc. The ZEEKR STARGATE intelligent light panel, equipped with 1711 powerful LED elements, which is offered as an option, can project various information, show a welcome message to the owner, provides clear visibility of the contours of the body when driving at night, and has increased brightness even during the day.
