The front-wheel drive electric car delivers 136 horsepower or 100 kW and 180 N/m of torque. The total battery capacity is 53.6 kilowatts per hour, which allows BYD D1 to travel 418 kilometers on a single battery charge without additional charges. The ecological car accelerates to a maximum of 130 km per hour, which is a good indicator for a taxi.

BYD Electric Vehicle Corporation, and in particular the D1 model, are very popular in their homeland, and therefore it is not surprising that the manufacturer decided to enter the international market.
