Volkswagen AG expanded the gamut of electric vehicles with the ID.6 model, which became the first representative of the ID family with three rows of seats and seven places. The novelty was created specifically for the China market.

Like the younger brother of ID.4, the “six” is proposed in the PRC in two versions: ID.6 Crozz and ID.6 X. Technically they are identical, but visual design is slightly different. They have different headlights and lanterns, bumper groups and some little things.

Plus, another form of the front wings due to differences in optics. The length in both cases is 4876 mm, which is 292 mm more than that of ID.4. Wheel base - 2965 mm versus 2766 mm. For "trains" are offered disks with a diameter of 19 to 21 inches.

There are differences inside: ID.6 Crozz and ID.6 X have a different shape of the front panel, ventilation deflectors, central tunnel and even door cards. The center provides a 12-inch touch screen of standard multimedia with a voice assistant Hello ID. Both machines are built on a single MEB electric platform.

One question remains: why was it necessary to develop two versions of one machine? The reason is already traditional for the PRC: there will be different factories to produce two modifications. ID.6 CROZZ went to the joint venture FAW-VW, ID.6 X-SAIC-VW.
